As the females and males will ultimately be retired into homes, having the dog already in place there, it makes the transition easier for the dog. This provides a FREE top quality Pomsky to you, while allowing me to keep my kennels within manageable numbers.

How does it work?

The dog is in your possession but officially my property (legal term) until I sign over ownership. KP Pomskies takes care of any breeding related vet bills. Guardians are responsible for the annual vaccinations, monthly heartworm medications, and daily food/treat costs, as well as any training requirements that the dog may have:

  • FEMALE - This is a new option for me to consider, and I would only do this if its the best possible arrangement:

    • Be willing to sign off on documentation with a notary and abide by a strong legal contract.

    • You MUST take great quality photos, and have a good camera on your phone or DSLR.

    • Be willing to let me take the female to whelp the puppies when it comes time for that, or possible consider in-home whelping IF you have that experience and are willing to listen to exacting instructions (KP Pomskies will pay for in-home whelping).

  • MALE -

    • Be willing to sign off on documentation with a notary and abide by a strong legal contract.

    • You MUST take great quality photos, and have a good camera on your phone or DSLR.

    • Be willing to part with him a few times a year for the mating process.

Dogs will need to be trained to: Sit, stay, be crate trained and potty trained. Additional points for being trained to “stack” (see link for video) for dog related events.

If at any point in time, I find that you are breaching the contract by allowing the dog to stud outside of my arrangements, the dog is neglected/mistreated, or the communication makes the situation impossible to succeed, I will take the dog back into my possession and the contract will have protective language surrounding this.

If you are considering trying out dog breeding, this could be a good way to start off your kennel, as we could work out payments in the form of breed quality dogs, while receiving vital mentoring.
