Raw Dog Food?

Everyone realizes that raw feeding dogs is most likely the best for the dog. As a breeder, I would absolutely love to raw feed my dogs. I definitely feel like it’s the best for them. But often times, I just can’t. And many dog owners are in that same situation.

The challenges:

  1. Dog owners aren’t sure where to start

  2. It’s complicated and confusing, and owners want to be sure they are providing the right macro ingredients

  3. Preparation time/costs makes it impossible

  4. Pre-mixed food can be costly

Due to my personal circumstances, I do a mix of dry kibble (I use Purina Pro Plan line - Sport, Focus, changing up proteins regularly to prevent sensitivities), and supplement with raw fed. This means raw meaty bones, raw eggs - shells and all, raw whole fish, and fruits and veggies.

A page, I recently came across has been excellent at really breaking down what is needed and at what stage in life. It has free calculators so that you can be sure that your dog is getting the nutrition they need, and breaks down all the complicated topics into easy to understand segments.

I hope you find great info from it as I have! https://perfectlyrawsome.com/
